  • Twenty-five years ago, professor Frederick Busch designed Living Writers as a way to bring students together with famous writers. Today, professors Jane Pinchin and Jennifer Brice continue to teach Living Writers, which they revamped in 2009 for a new generation of undergraduates, and a new generation of online book lovers.   • What to Expect and How to Succeed
    Some students adjust to college easily and naturally, while others struggle and even falter. A new online non-credit 鈥渃ourse,鈥 comprised of 13 short videos made by Colgate faculty, is designed to minimize the mystery about what it takes to succeed. The series also includes many student-produced video responses featuring current students and alumni.

  • Katie Williams '15, a history and geography double major from Washington, D.C., leads a tour for prospective students and their families. Williams conducted research for her Geographic Information Systems course to determine the best campus tour route.

  • Lauren Casella 鈥16 pauses outside Merrill House, home to the Colgate Scene and other elements in the Office of Communication.
    This summer, I interned with the 海角社区 Communications Office. The Communications team is responsible for all print and digital publications that represent Colgate to both our campus and global community. What piqued my interest in the internship was the opportunity to learn how Colgate told its story through its written and visual content.
