Students who have completed two semesters as a Gallery Attendant or any internship or assistant position with University Museums are offered the chance to apply for the Museum Ambassador position. A Museum Ambassador works closely with the Education and Engagement Fellow (EEF) on tasks related to developing public programming, doing outreach to the wider community, and brainstorming more ways for the museums to be involved on campus.
The Ambassadors meet once a week and are hands-on in helping out with any museum programming that occurs. Ambassadors have the opportunity to be at the forefront of strategic planning about how the museums can positively affect student life and learning.

As a Museum Ambassador, I had the opportunity to meet and work with other students who are also interested in museums. Together, we plan and organize different events for student engagement where I have been able to share my passion for art and museums, and learn from others in return.
