Former Democratic National Committee Chair Donna Brazile and former Republican National Committee Chair Michael Steele kicked off Colgate’s Road to the White House series on Sept. 4.

Colgate’s academic community will come together for moments of learning and civic engagement this month during The Road to the White House: Colgate’s 2024 Election Series, presented by the Office of the President and the Lampert Institute for Civic and Global Affairs.

Colgate’s interdisciplinary experts in authoritarianism and the postsocialist regions of Russia, Eastern Europe, and Eurasia have collaborated to educate students and the greater public about the crisis in Ukraine and to raise awareness about organizations providing relief for refugees of the conflict.
